- Farm project commenced in 2014 by clearing the acquired project land by stages, this is an ongoing process. The main aim of this farm is to generate project income through crops production whilst creating employment opportunities for local people and producing food for future students in our school. The cleared land is for planting crops such as maize, cassava, sweet potatoes and beans. Oxen were bought to assist with the ploughing of the farm, however, our hope for the future is to get a tractor for large scale farming.
- Improving methods of traditional crop production practices through training courses, workshops, and exposure to modern farming systems. In December 2017, local leader, Gabriel Odoch attended a ‘Master Tree Grower’ Training Conference’ in Luwero Uganda. The conference was conducted by ‘Beyond Subsistence’.
